Thank you to everyone who took the time to attend our membership meeting, ask thoughtful questions, and cast your vote. We’re excited to announce that the Tentative Agreement was overwhelmingly approved by the membership with a 95% YES vote!
The next step is for the Agreement to be presented to the Pierce Housing Authority Board of Commissioners for final approval at their next meeting. Assuming the Board approves the agreement, PCHA will begin implementing the new contract.
A big shout out to our amazing Bargaining Team (Patti Carson, Shauntae Coley, Cindy Greinke, and James King) for the time and energy they dedicated to preparing proposals, attending bargaining sessions, analyzing data, and advocating on behalf of the entire membership. They worked tirelessly to secure the strongest agreement possible under challenging circumstances.
