Update for OPEIU Local 8 members at Seattle Housing Authority sent Feb. 5, 2026
We are excited to announce the new union contract has been ratified! Thanks to all of those who participated in this negotiation process.
SHA’s Board will vote on the contract at their next meeting on February 17th. Assuming it passes, employees should see wage increases on the March 6th paycheck, with retroactive pay to the beginning of this year.
