Our Team has met with management two more times on April 28 and May 12. We continue bargaining with your priorities in mind: increased wages, better flexibilityin scheduling, and additional time off.
Pay is on the table
All employees in the unit may be moving on to new pay scale using step increases connected to years of service at THA. We made progress in trading proposals to ensure all see yearly increased wages, and pay is fair compared to those doing similar work in our region. We focused on raising wages for newer employees in the contract 3 years ago, so are mindful of balancing gains for long-term employees this year.
We’re excited to share that we have made gains on flexible scheduling.
Our next bargaining sessions are scheduled for today and tomorrow (May 14 & 15).
In Solidarity,
