Message to OPEIU 8 members in the Trades Section Master Agreement

We are officially gearing up for our upcoming contract negotiations between OPEIU Local 8 and the Trades Section Master Agreement.
Please join us for a Membership Meeting tomorrow (Tuesday, March 3) at 6 pm via Zoom. At this meeting, we will:
- Review results of the bargaining survey
- Discuss key priorities identified by members
- Talk through overall strategy and next steps
- Share important dates and what to expect during negotiations
- Answer your questions
This contract belongs to all of us. The strength of our proposals and our leverage at the bargaining table comes directly from member engagement and alignment around shared priorities. Whether you filled out the survey, are curious about what others identified as top concerns, or want to be more involved in the strategy moving forward, this is the space to plug in.
