WFSE workers have been hit hard by historically high gas prices this year, and with no end in sight our leaders on the Union Management Committee pushed WFSE to negotiate the impact on members pursuant to Sections 11.1 and 39.10 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Pending final Board sign-off, the improvements will raise vehicle allowance rates for all 43 of our bargaining unit members receiving this benefit.
What We Won:
From July 1 through December 30th of 2026, the basic vehicle allowance will be increased by $125, and the high mileage allowance will be increased by $250. The new allowance amounts will be $525 and $1,050 respectively.
