In a year filled with challenges and uncertainties some things remained the same: our
resilience, our desire to better understand and support each other, and our pursuit of a
more just society. One bright spot in 2020 has been the time we spent together during our
monthly meetings — whether it was sharing personal experiences, coming up with ways to
strengthen our Union, or building working class power that is informed and inclusive. Your
participation allows Local 8 to discuss and disseminate important information on racial
justice, equity movements, social justice, and so much more.
