We’ve met with Management’s Bargaining Team several times over the past few months. We are making significant progress and have reached tentative agreements on various articles of the contract.
Most recently, we’ve been exchanging package proposals. Management is currently reviewing a package proposal we made that covers many economic proposals, including wages, healthcare benefits, and health-related leave. Although we have yet to reach a final agreement on this package, our most recent meeting was very productive.
Our next bargaining date is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 12, and we plan to host another info/feedback session shortly thereafter. If we happen to receive an important counterproposal before then via email, we may have a feedback session with membership sooner to get your input.
