We have a few important updates to share with members, including a membership survey, upcoming regional meeting, and opportunity to get more involved in the work behind the scenes at Local 8.

There’s a lot happening right now — at work, in our communities, and beyond. Moments like this call for more than just keeping up. They call for being in it together. Please take a moment to fill out our survey and give us your feedback. To best strengthen our union, we need to hear from as many members as possible.

MEMBERSHIP SURVEY

Deadline: Wednesday, March 25, at 12 PM

Too often, things get buried, missed, or ignored. We’re asking some direct questions about what matters most to you right now, from workplace issues to the bigger things impacting your life. Just as important: how you want to hear from your union.

Right now, we’re not reaching people the way we should be. This survey is about fixing that. We want to know where you actually pay attention (text, social, email, etc.) and what’s worth your time when we show up there. If we’re going to communicate better, it has to start with you.

NORTH REGIONAL MEETING
Saturday, March 28

10:30 AM to 2 PM
(New Member Orientation at 10 AM)
SNOHOMISH COUNTY LABOR COUNCIL
(2810 Lombard Ave., Everett)

If you’re in the north region, this is your space! Not just to get updates, but to connect, share what’s going on at your workplace, and help shape what we do next. We’re trying to build more power in our union, but that requires more coordination and participation. This only works if people show up. We need you in the room.

This only works if we build it together. Drop by that regional meeting if you’re up north, fill out the survey, and share the news that we’re seeking a union rep to join Local 8 staff.
