RESJ Solidarity Summit (with Group Outing to “No Kings” Protest)

OPEIU Local 8’s Race, Equity, and Social Justice (RESJ) Committee is proud to host our second annual Solidarity Summit.
During the Summit, we will bus attendees to and from the “No Kings” protest in Seattle. We will depart from the Labor Temple at ~ 11:30 a.m. and return ~2:30 p.m. Boxed lunches will be provided!
Whether you’ve been active in RESJ work for years or are just getting started, the Summit is your opportunity to learn about the intersections of racial justice, worker power, and collective action.

Calling all members! We encourage you to join us in Vancouver later this month. This is a great opportunity to learn about your union, meet other members, discuss issues, and build solidarity.
A 50% rebate on your initiation fee will be given if you attend the Regional Meeting within one (1) year of your date of hire or the Shop Steward Incentive Program will apply for attending (initiation fee rebate not available to members paying a $20 or waived initiation fee).
